Please study for your MIDTERM --> Friday, 11/9
On the midterm, you will need to:
- identify characters on cards 1-82
- know BOTH the Greek and Roman names for characters with two names listed
- match the major gods/goddesses (Olympians, Demeter, Dionysus) with their major myths, symbols, etc
- have a working knowledge of all of the characters we've read about
- define archetype and cosmogony (and come up with mythical examples of each)
- recognize allusions to mythology/identify the original tale
