MON: Read ch 4 in Gatsby
-If needed, complete the Gatsby vocabulary list

TUES: Read ch 5 in Gatsby
-For Friday, complete 2 CEHEs on the historical event/crash course of your choosing.

WED: Read ch 6 in Gatsby
-For Friday, complete CEHEs on the historical event/crash course of your choosing.

THURS: Read ch 7 in Gatsby
-For Friday, complete 2 CEHEs on the historical event/crash course of your choosing.

FRI: Read ch 8 in Gatsby
-Review vocabulary list for Monday's test
-Finish up the Mock MC Review/Reflection for Monday
-Complete a close reading on the passage of your choosing from chapter 7 or 8 in The Great Gatsby (annotate through Google comments, and write a paragraph that discusses Fitzgerald's purpose in that passage along with examining the choices he makes to convey his purpose AND the effect of those choices). Share your CR with me via email when finished.

**Chapter 3 Close Reading (from The Great Gatsby) on the passage of your choosing. Click on the electronic link, copy the passage, and paste it into a google doc. Then:
1) Annotate the passage by posting comments.
2) Write a paragraph were you discuss Fitzgerald's purpose in the passage and the rhetorical choices he makes to convey this message.
3) Share your google doc with me (achapman@smmusd.org or achapman@smmk12.org) by the end of the period.
